The Great Sphinx of Giza is a statue of a lion’s body and a human head.  Archaeologists believe the Sphinx to be a depiction of King Khafre (Chephren)[1], wearing the royal nemes headdress affixed to a lion’s body.

Carved out of a massive horseshoe-shaped trench of bedrock, Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock suggested that an equally valid and more intriguing possibilty is that the head of the Sphinx was reduced in size [to remodel the face of King Khafre or other] by recarving. “The simple, honest truth is that during the thousands of years of the Sphinx’s existence, often with only its head protruding above the sand, almost anyone could have worked on its face at almost any time.”[2]

The questions remain: What is the purpose of the Sphinx? Whose image does the Sphinx portray?

Continuing on with my theory, in relation to Virgo in Part One and Part Two, I personally believe that the Sphinx on Earth was fashioned in the likeness of the constellation art of Virgo (female, human head) and Leo (Lion, animal’s body) in Heaven. The central message is perhaps clearest in the Book of Genesis (also known as the Torah meaning “law”). The symbolic purpose of the design of the Sphinx, is to connect humans on Earth (terrestrial, refers to things related to the land or the Earth) with God (extra-terrestrial, refers to things related to the heavens, cosmos, or the universe beyond Earth), thereby making humans Godly. So as to not cause confusion, I will define terrestrial life as mortal and the extra-terrestrial, as the immortal and eternal.

The Sphinx, part of the master plan or purpose for the Giza Necropolis in Egypt, is therefore an affirmation of God and human potential, reminding humanity that they are capable of transcending the ranks of the mortal animal. I.e. Our destiny, unlike other animals, is not determined by our DNA alone.

The word fetus means “To come into being”. The Sphinx ‘ face as Virgo the mother, consistent with this new theory, unmasks the face of the Sphinx as the face of the human fetus at twelve weeks — YOU.

So far, we’ve taken a look at the astronomical side of this theory using Stellarium planetarium software to reconstruct the night sky on the millennium at Giza, Egypt. This post will now provide an explanation for the purpose of the Great Pyramid at Giza involving the design of the chambers and shafts of the Great Pyramid in relation to this theory.

In the introduction to this theory I wrote that the Great Pyramid (without capstone) serves as a theoretical model in stone of the anatomy (the torso) of a pregnant woman with embryo. The so-called “King’s Chamber” represents the woman’s heart, and the “air-shafts” of the King’s Chamber symbolizes the woman’s respiratory system. The function of the respiratory system is to take oxygen into the lungs and output carbon dioxide.

The so-called “Queen’s Chamber” represents the heart development of an embryo from the fertilization of the ovum to the fetus stage. Note that the shafts of the Queen’s Chamber were not originally cut through but stopped short several inches from the inner walls.[1] The Queen’s Chamber’ shafts therefore symbolize the respiratory system of the unborn fetus, dependent on the Mother until birth and first “breath” of life.

The “Grand Gallery” represents the placenta that connects the developing fetus to the uterine wall to allow nutrient uptake, waste elimination, and gas exchange via the mother’s blood supply. And the ‘stretching of the cord’ ceremony practised from at least the Second Dynasty (c. 2900 BC)[2] symbolizes the umbilical cord (also called the birth cord), the connecting cord from the developing embryo or fetus to the placenta.

In Part One of this theory, I wrote that twelve o’clock midnight on the 31st December 1999 at Giza in Egypt, represented a woman’s last normal menstrual period (LMP). In Part Two I wrote that every hour forward from midnight represents one week from the woman’s last normal menstrual period (LMP). Between the second and third hour/week forward, fertilization occurred and theoretically speaking, embryogenesis, the first trimester of prenatal development began.

This post, part three of this theory, is on the twelve hours from twelve o’clock midnight on the millennium (31st December 1999) at Giza in Egypt to twelve o’clock midday (1st January 2000) at Giza, Egypt. It therefore represents the twelve weeks of the development of an embryo from the fertilization of the ovum to the fetus stage. Embryogenesis, the first trimester of prenatal development, is from the woman’s last normal menstrual period (LMP) to the beginning of the twelfth week when fetal development, the second trimester of prenatal development begins.

Twelve hours from midnight, at twelve o’clock midday on 1st January 2000 at Giza in Egypt (facing South), the Sun is on the crown or head of the constellation Sagittarius (Image 15). The constellation Sagittarius resumes the position of the star Sirius (the constellation of Canis Major) seen previously in the South at twelve o’clock midnight on the 31st December 1999 at Giza, Egypt. Sagittarius is identified as half human, half horse.

Professor of Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy, John A. McNulty, Ph.D., wrote that the primordium of the heart forms in the cardiogenic plate located at the cranial end of the embryo. A horse-shoe shape configuration of cells form and by the end of embryogenesis, the fetal heart has formed.[1] The cranial end of the embryo correlates with the Sun on the crown or head/cranium of the constellation Sagittarius. And the horse-shoe shape configuration of cells correlates with the constellation of Sagittarius as a horse.

Twelve hours from midnight, at twelve o’clock midday on 1st January 2000 at Giza in Egypt (North East), the constellation Andromeda is located above the constellation Triangulum directly opposite the triangular-shaped structure of the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt (Image 17). The constellation art of Andromeda rising above the horizon represents Christ and resurrection, that refers to the fetus having come to life (the return to bodily life of Christ/heart in all human beings). I.e. At twelve weeks  (LMP) the development of the fetal heart is now complete. “The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone.” (Psalm 118:22). The head is the capstone but “without the heart there can be no understanding between the hand and the mind.” (Madonna). Without the heart the Great Pyramid merely represents a skeleton that has lost its capstone/head or mind (it represents death). Therefore Andromeda represents the resurrection of Life, which is the birthright of every human being. This theory provides an answer to the abortion debate on the moral status of abortion. Once the fetal heart has completely formed at twelve weeks LMP, human life begins. Do not elect to abort life (unless therapeutic) after this time. This theory also asserts the commandment: “Do not murder.” (Exodus 20:13).

When the constellation of Virgo was rising in the East at midnight on the 31st of December 1999 at Giza in Egypt, the brightest star in the night sky, Sirius, was seen in the South (Image 2).

Sirius is the brightest star in the constellation known to astronomers as Canis Major (the Big Dog or the “Dog Star”). The star Sirius was identified with ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Isis, the goddess of motherhood, fertility, nature, creation, and new life. “Mutt” is a generally derogatory term toward a dog, however in the ancient Egyptian language, “Mut” meant mother. An alternative spelling is “Maat”, referred to as a Mother goddess and the personification of nature (above and below, heaven and earth), regulating the stars, seasons, and creation.

Given midnight on the 31st December 1999 at Giza in Egypt theoretically represents the woman’s last normal menstrual period (LMP), every hour forward from midnight represents one week. One hour forward from midnight on the 31st December 1999 (1:00 a.m. 1st January 2000) at Giza in Egypt, and the constellation Virgo is seen rising in the East (Image 5). One hour forward represents one week forward from the woman’s last normal menstrual period (LMP).

Two hours forward from midnight on the 31st December 1999 (2:00 a.m. 1st January 2000) at Giza in Egypt, and the constellation Virgo continues to rise in the East (Image 6). Two hours forward represents two weeks forward from the woman’s last normal menstrual period (LMP).

At two and a half hours forward from midnight on the 31st December 1999 (2:30 a.m. 1st January 2000) at Giza in Egypt, the Moon beneath Virgo’s feet is now visible above the Eastern horizon and this, theoretically speaking, represents fertilization (the woman is now pregnant). Two and a half hours forward represents two and a half weeks forward from the woman’s last normal menstrual period (LMP). Embryogenesis, the first trimester of prenatal development begins (Image 7).

Using Stellarium planetarium software I reconstructed the night sky for midnight on the 31st December 1999 at Giza, Egypt (Date: 2000/1/1 Time: 9:00 a.m. Location: Canberra, ACT, Australia), facing East (Image 1).

At this time, the constellation Virgo is seen in the East at midnight (twelve o’clock) on the 31st December at Giza, Egypt (Image 2). “Virgo” is Latin for virgin. Theoretically speaking, this represents a woman’s last normal menstrual period (LMP). Therefore the female is still a virgin, meaning she has not been fertilized yet.

In the Bible (Revelation 12:1-2) a great sign was seen in heaven [the sky], a woman with the moon beneath her feet and she was pregnant. The Moon is beneath the feet of the constellation Virgo at midnight on the 31st December 1999 at Giza, Egypt (Image 7). Once again, theoretically speaking, the Moon represents an ovum or egg (the female reproductive cell or gamete) and at this stage the Moon beneath Virgo’s feet represents the female menstrual cycle.

First and foremost I want to give credit and a special thanks to construction engineer and author Robert Bauval for his discovery of the Orion Correlation Theory and for his suggestion to use astronomy to understand the master plan for the Giza Necropolis of Egypt. I also want to give credit to: Clive Ross; Dr. Zahi Hawass, the current Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities; John A. McNulty, Ph.D., Professor of Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy; and the developers of Stellarium planetarium software.

The idea that the Great Pyramid is related to the Earth, belongs (as far as I know) to Clive Ross. Robert Bauval mentioned in his book Secret Chamber that the idea to celebrate the millennium at Giza in Egypt should be credited to Dr. Zahi Hawass. John A. McNulty, Ph.D. wrote about the primordium of the heart that forms at the cranial end of the embryo from a horse-shoe shape configuration of cells. And last but not least, Stellarium planetarium software enabled me to reconstruct the night sky on the millennium at Giza in Egypt to piece together his huge astronomical-geophysical-biological puzzle.

The Heart of The Matter

A New Theory on The Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt

The Ancient Greek “Know Thyself” was written in the forecourt of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. These two words, or better said as “Know Thy Self” in three, like the three Great Pyramids at Giza in Egypt have travelled through time and give us pause even to this day. What might the builder of this directive, the Master Plan of the Giza Necropolis, have meant to convey to the world at this time?

Author Edmund Jezuit (now deceased) believed the Great Pyramid could be called the Bible in stone. The theme of the Bible is about Moses coming down on the mountain referred to as Mount Sinai and offering the Law of God in the form of two stone tablets. The Law represented God’s divine standard and Jezuit believes it was etched in stone when God inspired the builders of the Great Pyramid. I.e. The builders of the Great Pyramid built a temple to honor God and God’s perfect Law:

The apostle Paul wrote of our bodies as a temple: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16,17). Peter likened individual church members to living stones: “Ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house” (1 Peter 2:5, ASV). When Paul identified the Lord’s people as the “Temple of God,” he indicated that our bodies are temples in which dwells the holy spirit; our bodies are God’s dwelling place.

It is this great truth that is represented by the The Great Pyramid and the Giza Necropolis (including the three pyramids known as the Great Pyramids, along with the massive sculpture known as the Great Sphinx) that has survived to make us ponder their meaning so many centuries later. There are many theories written on the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt and ideas of a ‘secret chamber’ and ‘hidden records’ yet to be discovered beneath the Giza Plateau, yet this theory differs in that it seeks to present the ideas behind the chambers and the message already encoded in the Great Pyramid itself. In fact, had it not been for the design of the Great Pyramid, this theory would not have been gained by means of, and would not be testable by, observation and experiment. Whereas other theories on the Great Pyramid are dedicated to the Kings of ancient Egypt, I am seeking to promote the message that the pyramids were built for all seekers of truth, not just for the Kings.

“This theory gives all seekers of truth greater knowledge and understanding that we are all created equal. We are all made of the same stuff. In essence, we all possess a heart and we all breathe the same life-giving spirit, Oxygen. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you.”

Ultimately, this is the message coded, both in the Great Pyramid and in the stars observable at midnight on the millennium on the 31st December 1999 at Giza in Egypt. The Great Pyramid (without capstone) serves as a theoretical model in stone of the anatomy (the torso) of a pregnant woman with embryo. It is a structure that primarily represents Physiology (from Ancient Greek: φύσις, physis, “nature, origin”) and Embryology (the development of an embryo from the fertilization of the ovum to the fetus stage).

This theory is therefore an attempt to offer a new way of thinking to a modern audience, from a dominating traditional single male god in charge of every little male king jockeying for position, to a humankind that has become one among itself and connected to nature such that it stands not on the verge of chaos but at the doorway to a ‘heaven on Earth’ before even considering a stairway to heaven, and ultimately before offering the gift of eternal life — a heart to breathe eternally on Earth and beyond.
